The Eaton BR3100 Cutter Hammer is a 3-Pole, 240 volt AC, 100-amp circuit breaker designed to prevent overloads and short circuits. It is operated by a toggle-type handle and has an internal common trip mechanism. The handle position provides visual trip position of the breaker. This particular breaker accepts #14 – 1/0 aluminum and copper wire. This breaker is designed to work in conditions up to 75 C. The BR3100 also has a 10 kAIC, which provides protection up to 10 kilo amps of fault current without damaging the circuit or circuit breaker.
