Cooper Crouse-Hinds’ new sealing solution, Chico® SpeedSeal™ compound, is designed to separate and form an explosion-proof seal around each electrical conductor in Crouse-Hinds EYS and EYD sealing fittings. It restricts the passage of gases, vapors or flams through the sealing fitting and creates a hardened seal for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G hazardous areas. The compound is UL and cUL Listed for use with 1/2″ to 2″ Cooper Crouse-Hinds sealing fittings only.
The Chico® SpeedSeal™ is packaged in a 2 oz. or 6 oz. pre-measured cartridge and comes with a screw-on nozzle for accurate dispensing. It is very easy and quick to apply.
